      Maqasid Syariah basically promotes realizing human well-being by enhancing the welfare, or benefit (maslahah) of the people and preventing harm (mafsadah) to others.  Conventionally, Maqasid Syariah is the ultimate objective of Shariah is to promote and protect the well-being of people and nature, which lies on maintaining five fundamental objectives of Shariah which are: 1. Hifz al-din (religion) 2. Hifz al-nafs (life) 3. Hifz al-aql (intellect) 4. Hifz al-nasb (lineage) 5. Hifz al-mal (wealth)     The satisfaction of these needs is a basic human right and has been addressed under the generic term Maqasid Shariah.       As we know that man as Khalifah on earth (vicegerent of Allah)  has a big Amanah which is to govern the earth by implementing Islamic law and prospering the world, living in community and not being hostile to each other. The Amanah concept is the fundamental governance of society.
